Keith Major - PCC Member
Since my teenage years I have been involved with Christ's church in many ways. Youth clubs, PCCs, various councils and committees including Rural Deaneries, Deputy Church Wardenships and six years as a full Warden. I also obtained a Bishops Certificate in theological studies in 1988 and currently run a 'Home Group", which is open to all. My wife Valerie and I have five grandchildren who are fun and keep us busy. I have a stack of hobbies that include:- acting and other forms of theatre work, narrow boating, photography, and interests in railways, indeed moth things mechanical, the country side and our environment. Since retiring from the family business in 2013 after 53 years, I enjoy having more contact with people around the village. I used to be a Governor at our local Primary school for 12 years, including 8 as chairman, and still go in for monthly assemblies with the "Open the Book" team.
