The Venerable Angela Martin - Vicar of Forest Row & Archdeacon of Horsham
Angela became the Vicar in August 2014 coming from the busy urban parish of Worth in Crawley. Coming from a farming family and growing up in the countryside she is pleased to be back in rural ministry. It's especially lovely that as a Sussex girl born and bread that the county board for East and West Sussex run through the middle of the parish. The church has always felt like home and her earliest memories of church are standing between her grandmother and her grandmothers best friend, barely able to see over the pew as they both sang hymns with great gusto. Growing up in the countryside as well as a background in microbiology has added to her sense of wonder and awe for life and all creation. It's no surprise that after listening to God's gentle call both inside and outside the church that she finally answered that call by saying 'yes, here I am'.
She became the Archdeacon of Horsham at the Beginning of August 2021 alongside her role as Parish Priest.
