Eco Church

As part of our vision to Grow together, rooted in God we are doing all we can to reduce our carbon footprint and walk gently on the earth. This is why we joined the Eco Church award scheme a few years ago. This is an award scheme for churches in England and Wales who wish to demonstrate that the gospel is good news for God’s earth.

The award scheme helps to equip us here to express our care for God’s world in our worship and teaching; in how we look after our buildings and land; in how we engage with our local community and in global campaigns, and in the personal lifestyles of our congregation. We have recently achieved our Silver award.
